3-Year Phased Payment:

• Year 3: ₹0.90 lakh/ha (25%)

Objective: To establish seed gardens with superior quality mother palms (Tall, Dwarf, Hybrids) to ensure future supply of quality seednuts.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Land Requirements:

• Standard: Minimum 2 ha to Maximum 4 ha
• Non-Traditional/NE States: Minimum 1 ha (relaxation)

Planting Details:

• Variety Ratio: 60:40 Tall and Dwarf varieties (relaxable to 70:30 based on committee recommendation)
• Seedling Source: Seedlings must be from ICAR, SAUs, or CDB DSP farms
• Maintenance: Must maintain garden for at least 3 years with CDB support, then at own cost

⚠️ Important Conditions

MoU (Memorandum of Understanding):

• MoU required on ₹100 stamp paper
• Must sign agreement with CDB
• We help prepare the MoU

Application Fee: ₹5,000 (Non-refundable) - Required

Recovery Clause:

• If project discontinued after partial assistance, entire subsidy amount + penal interest recoverable
• Upon full release, garden is listed in CDB directory

Credit Linkage:

• If bank loan taken, subsidy will be linked to credit project

Mandatory Requirements:

• Maintenance: Must maintain garden for minimum 3 years with CDB support
• Audit: Audited statement of expenditure required
• GST Bills: Original GST bills/vouchers required for all expenses
