Total Subsidy: 50% reimbursement of eligible expenditure

Maximum Subsidy: ₹3.00 Lakh per kiosk

Objective: To support the marketing of value-added coconut products by setting up dedicated retail points.

Eligible Expenditure Items:

• Infrastructure structure (permanent/semi-permanent)
• Furniture (Racks, Cupboards, Tables, Chairs)
• Refrigerator/Freezer (for storing tender coconut water, milk, etc.)
• Electrical Installation
• Signage/Display Board (Must indicate assistance from CDB)

Limit: An applicant can get subsidy for a maximum of 5 kiosks, but in a staggered manner based on performance.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Who Can Apply:

• Manufacturers of branded coconut products
• FPOs registered with CDB
• Cooperatives/Marketing Federations (in Non-Traditional States)

Land Requirements:

• Must own land/shop OR have Rent/Lease agreement for minimum 5 years

Floor Area:

• Minimum 60 square feet required

Product Range:

• Must sell a variety of coconut products (VCO, Chips, Milk, Water, Shell handicrafts, etc.)

⚠️ Important Conditions

5-Kiosk Limit:

• An applicant can get subsidy for a maximum of 5 kiosks
• Approval is given in a staggered manner based on performance
• Separate application required for each kiosk

Affidavit:

• Affidavit ensuring kiosk will not be kept idle is mandatory
• Must be signed on stamp paper

Sales Records:

• Minimum 3 months of monthly sales records must be maintained before claim release
• Records must be accurate and up-to-date

Signage:

• Display board must indicate assistance from CDB (mandatory)
• “Assisted by CDB” or similar text required

Sustainability:

• Must have manpower to operate daily and maintain sales registers
